1. Payment

Rental payment will be due in advance with one half due at reservation and the other half due one month before arrival. Payments are non-refundable however, should a renter be unable to visit, we will make a good faith effort to find other renters. If we are succesfull, the deposit will be refunded minus a 100 dollar re-booking fee.

2. Check In

Rental is from Saturday to Saturday. Check in at 3PM. Check out at 11AM.

3. Extra Visitors and Sleep-Overs

The maximum number of guests at Crosswinds is 8. When completing the contract, you will be asked to list the names of the people in your party and the license plate numbers of their vehicles. No other guests or vehicles are permitted to stay for the night. If you have made reservations for less than 8 guests and wish to have over night guests, you will need to indicate that when you complete the contract. Our concern is that renters will invite friends and family to join them during their vacation at Crosswinds. More than 8 guests will strain all of the facilities including floors, furniture, garbage, parking and relations with neighbors.

4. Parking

On street parking and on lawn parking is not permitted. A four car maximum is requested.

5. Noise

We live in a primarily residential neighborhood. We respect our neighbors and do not want to receive complaints from them about excessive noise at unreasonable hours.

6. Damage/Security Deposit

A security deposit of $250 is due when the reservation is made. If there is no damage and the cottage is left in the condition in which it was received, the deposit will be entirely refunded. If damage is found and/or more than the normal amount of cleaning is required to prepare the cottage for the next renters, charges will be assessed and the balance of the deposit will be refunded within 45 days.

7. Pets

Sorry, no pets are allowed at Crosswinds.

8. Smoking

Smoking is not allowed in the Lake House
